Britney Spears Released From Hospital

Police were called to the scene, and Spears was taken from her home on a stretcher and hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for appearing to be under the influence of an unknown substance. Life & Style magazine reports that blood tests later came back negative for any illicit substances. Spears is currently being held for psychiatric evaluation hours after police were called in a child custody dispute at her Los Angeles home. She is said to be under a suicide watch. On January 5, 2007 Spears was released from the hospital in Los Angeles.
