Britney Spears is finally getting the help she needs.
On Monday, Britney’s family arrived for an intervention. Lynn and Jamie Lynn flew in and Jamie was there along with her cousin, Alli, her sometimes boyfriend Adnan. Sam Lutfi was there too but said that the Spears family crashed the gate!
Thursday morning around 1:00 A. M. Britney was taken to UCLA for the 5150 evaluation she needs (according to People). TMZ reports that her new psychiatrist has been working at this since Monday. The psychiatrist knew she was in need of help and was waiting for the right moment to get it! When she started driving like a “mad woman” around her community, action was taken. She was deemed a “danger to herself and others” (TMZ)! The New York Post reports that the police were called and she was taken by ambulance to have the evaluation she needed. Lutfi and Jamie Spears arrived at the hospital shortly after she did and Lynn was seen by People leaving with Adnan.
Reports of an attempted suicide surfaced on the Internet last night but Lufti has denied this!

E!Online reports that Brit is still maintain a fitness routine that includes dancing. She was spotted at 1:30 Monday morning at a fitness center with Lutfi and her assistant, Carla.
FOX News “Pop Tarts” reports that Brit is visiting Hustler Hollywood sex shop. No word on what she bought.
Brit being sued by Los Vegas fashion consultant Nancy Rosu for failure to pay the consultant fee.
A trip to a Mercedes Benz car dealership where she argued with her mother.
TMZ and Fox News reports that Brit can now talk to her children on the telephone. TMZ informs that it is with specifications applied though.
After telling Barbara Walters that Brit had “treatable mental issues”, Sam Lutfi seems to have gotten into a fight with her on Monday night. Reports from TMZ reports that he also forbade admittance to Adnan. Her parents arrived and all went inside including her cousin Alli, sister Jamie, and Adnan. Could this be a step toward treatment? TMZ reports that it very likely could be and could start this week. Lynn and her mom actually went shopping together – to a drug store.
We are being asked by folks to the family to keep Britney in our prayers! I think she needs them at this desperate time in her young life!

TMZ is reporting after a hospital stand-off between Lutfi and her parents, her parents have won the medical debate. Doctors at UCLA are cooperating with her parents and following their wishes. A judge will make the final decision as Lufti was originally in charge of decisions!
