Britney Spears Paying Million$ for Her Divorce
Los Angeles - New details emerged Wednesday about the divorce settlement between Britney Spears and her estranged husband Kevin Federline.
According to celebrity tabloid Star Magazine, the deal will cost Spears 13 million dollars, which includes 500,000 dollars for every year or marriage, a half share of the Malibu home which is on the market for 13.5 million dollars and 25,000 dollars a month in child support for each of their two children until they reach the age of 18.
Federline also gets to keep all the gifts Spears bought them during their marriage, but is forbidden from writing a tell-all expose about their marriage. Under the joint-custody agreement Federline will look after the couple’s two sons for four days a week.
The report also said that Spears was reluctant to finalize the split. “Do you really want to do this?” Spears asked Federline when they met to finalize the terms of their split. When the failed rapper replied affirmatively, his estranged wife said, “You’re the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, but thank you for my babies.”
